Project Management

Project management focuses on a project. It optimizes the resources necessary to successfully complete the project. These resources include the skills, talent and cooperative effort of a team of people; facilities, tools and equipment; information, systems and techniques; and money.

Participants of this workshop will learn techniques and gain insights on how to manage a project. Not only will they have learned about the various components of the “project life cycle”, but participants will also have experienced the dynamics of working with others to keep a project successfully moving forward.

Participants will learn to:

  • Identify the phases of the project life cycle
  • Recognize the three critical parameters of any project
  • Utilize project management tools and terminology such as workbreakdown structures and gantt charts.

Who should attend?

Individuals who manage projects or want to learn the functions of a Project Manager and require a firm grounding of the fundamentals of project management.
